The Blues Bar at Tring was started in 2011 by Blues enthusiast John Stack after seeing a band called Shufflepack playing at a gig in Watlington. John wanted to bring quality live blues to Tring and at the same time generate bar revenue for Tring Park Cricket Club. He discussed this with Son Maxwell the vocalist and harp player for Shufflepack and between the two of them came they up with a deal. In October 2014 we went from one gig per month to two per month and a huge variety of different bands and artists from around the world. There are a number of special events and evenings planned with Jazz and Blues on the menu. 2016 saw our first Blues and Beer festival (4 days of live music!) in conjunction with Tring Brewery and raised £8,000 for the Pepper Foundation. In 2017 we had Slim Chance (Ronnie Lane’s band) play in Tring and raised over £4,000 for the Chilterns MS Centre.

We offer a fully stocked bar with seasonal beers from Tring Brewery meaning you can sit back, relax and enjoy a great time. So please come along and listen to some great blues and enjoy the show.
